Connect the Windows Phone to a PC

Now comes an important step. Copies the previously stored product code to the clipboard and replace the three files shown the product-specific code.
Detailed explanation of this approach
On the right side of the support tools do you see when your device is connected, a "Basic Info".

Flashing the operating systemNow the Nokia Care Suite starts again and goes back into the Product Support Tool. Click File on the top right, then click on Preferences and add the download path. The files should be located so here:
C :/ Program Data / Nokia / Offers / Products / [device-type]
Now click in the lower right corner on a small cube and click "rescan data packages". Is your download location correctly, this should turn green. Now everything is ready.
Finally, you should ensure that your Lumia are on the homescreen. Then you right click on "Programming" and selects refurbishment.
Click on "start" and the flash starts. This takes about 10-15 minutes and your Windows Phone could be started while a couple of times.
When the update is completed successfully, you have a fully functional Windows Phone 7.8 device.
